Stone-Grip Floor Treatment: Stone-Grip Floor Treatment created microscopic tread patterns to improve slip resistance on wet tile surfaces.

 

Industrial Strength Tile Treatment: This product is designed to improve slip resistance on hard tile floors and will not noticeably alter the appearance of most surfaces. Can be used to increase friction levels on Ceramic Tile, Porcelain Tile, Quarry Tile, Mosaic Tile, Granite, Terrazzo, Slate, Glazed Brick, Shower Stalls, and other stone or mineral surfaces.

Heavy Duty Anti-Slip Treatment: This product is designed to increase the Coefficient of Friction (C.O.F.) and safety on wet surfaces. This product will not noticeably alter the appearance of most surfaces. With proper maintenance one application can last for years. Can increase friction levels on: Concrete, Terrazzo, Quarry Tile, Slate, or Brick. *Treatment does not work on synthetic tile containing chemical resin binders, paint, fiberglass or acrylic.

Shower or Bathtub Treatment: Do you worry about yourself or a loved one slipping in the shower or bathtub? Slip and falls in showers and bathtubs are a serious problem and can result in life changing injury. Slippery bathtubs are the most common reason for bathroom related accidents and are the number one cause of accidents in the home. Once mixed with SlipDoctors exclusive non-slip additive (included) it will give you durable high traction coating.

Cleaner\Degreaser: Are you wondering how to clean your floors after they have been treated with our anti-slip treatment? Our Cleaner\Degreaser is very aggressive and will emulsify grease and dirt. Using a commercial grade Cleaner\Degreaser after treatment will keep the floors slip-resistant. Each gallon will clean 7,500 to 15,000 square feet of flooring. Commercial grade Cleaner\Degreasers cannot be found over the counter. Highly concentrated Cleaner\Degreaser can be used on most surfaces not harmed by water, when used as directed. Ideal for cleaning fried food grease, floors, walls, vent hoods, counter tops and other equipment. Safe on most metals, chrome, glass, vinyl, wood, and plastic. When using on soft metals such as Aluminum, contact time should be kept to a minimum and a thorough fresh water rinse is required.

Floor Measurement:

Static Coefficient of Friction (SCOF): We can measure the Static Coefficient of Friction of your floors using the American Slip Meter 825. Documenting the Static Coefficient of Friction of your floors provides valuable data about safety levels and ongoing maintenance. We can provide record keeping of your floors history.

 

Accepted Industry Standards: The American Disabilities Act (ADA) passed by congress in July 1992 Title III notes: For all business open to the public, The Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board (ATBCB) recommends flooring and walkways have a coefficient of friction level of .60 or above and .80 for ramps. There are penalties for failure to comply and tax benefits for those businesses taking steps to comply.

OSHA sets many requirements for safe floors, walkways and ramps under 29 CFR-1910 referring to providing floors with anti-slip surfaces or maintaining surfaces in non-slip condition. OSHA recommends .50 COF.

As adopted by Underwriters Laboratory (UL) and the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM): .50 COF or above has been traditionally recognized as providing non-hazardous walkway surfaces.

According to the National Floor Safety Institute, high tractions floors, those with a wet SCOF of .60 or higher, have been clinically proven to reduce slip-and-fall claims by as much as 90 percent.
